About Ohio Prison Arts Connection
Ohio Prison Arts Connection is a coalition of people committed to working together to building arts access for people in prison and re-entry, and to creating spaces for storytelling, resource-sharing, and dialogue both inside and outside of prisons.
OPAC exists to promote the transformative power of art and increase access to arts engagement and experiences for all people engaged in the carceral system. In order to work toward these two goals, we collaborate with corrections and court personnel, public officials, funders, artists, teachers, community supporters and family members.
We have a new website in beta version at new.ohioprisonartsconnection.org. If there is any information you would like added to the new site, email us at email@example.com. We look forward to your feedback.
Thank you to The Wexner Center, The Ohio Arts Council, our panelists, keynotes, and all who attended our 2018 state-wide gathering. We were inspired by the thoughtful exchanges, and left with concrete steps to move forward. If you've not done so already, please sign up for our newsletter where we will invite you to participate moving forward.
